The 2024 Summer Library Program, READ, RENEW, REPEAT, officially begins for children, teens and adults, on June 29th!
We encourage patrons of all ages to come into the library to register!
Ages 0-12 register in the Children’s Room
Ages 13 and up register at the Reference Desk
How the Reading Programs Work:
Youth Room Summer Reading
There are two fun ways to participate in Summer Reading in the Youth Room this summer!
Book Bingo!
Pick up a Book Bingo sheet and fill it out throughout the summer. Color in or X off the square for each activity you complete. When you get 5 in a row (horizontal, vertical or diagonal), stop by the library and show a staff member to get a GRAND PRIZE RAFFLE ticket. You can keep going until you fill out your whole board throughout the summer! The Grand Prize will be drawn in September.
Weekly Reading!
Every time you come into the library this summer, fill out one raffle ticket for every half hour you’ve read since your last visit to the library; for example, if you read 5 hours since you visited the library, fill out 10 raffle tickets. Then place your raffle ticket(s) into the bucket that is in front of the prize you’d like to win. Winners will be drawn every Monday.
You can participate in both Book Bingo and Weekly Reading!

Totally Tubular Tiny Art Show:
Last summer we challenged you to play and create on a tiny canvas; this year our challenge centers around the versatile toilet paper tube! Renew your playfulness and spirit of innovation! Reuse! Make art! Drop off your project by August 26th and we’ll exhibit it during the month of September. We are once again excited to showcase our creative community! Check the calendar for two open studio dates–we’ll supply the tubes and art supplies, you bring your inspiration and creativity!
