Registration begins on June 21st for the following Tails & Tales Summer Library Program challenges:
Children (ages 0-12)
Children and their caregivers will log their reading time in Beanstack, and earn digital raffle tickets. Each week, in three age categories (0-4, 5-9, and 10-12 years), a drawing will be held for a book-and-prize bundle! Completing additional themed-challenges will earn extra entries in the weekly raffle. That’s not all: during the first week of summer reading, young participants who visit the Youth Room can take home a free book. Every week following, those who visit the Youth Room can choose an item to take home from our special prize box— just for visiting the Library!
Teens (13-17) Adults (18 and up)
To participate in the Tails & Tales Summer Library program and earn digital badges that will in turn earn digital raffle tickets for some sweet grand prizes, all teens (13-17) and adults (18+) have to do is to log their reading time in Beanstack, write book reviews, attend virtual programs, participate in Take & Make projects and have fun with culinary creations
- Log your reading between June 21 and August 20, 2021
120 min = 1 badge
240 min = 1 badge
360 min = 1 badge
480 min = 1 badge
600 min = 1 badge
840 min = 1 badge
1080 min = 1 badge
1440 min = 1 badge

Write book reviews (5 book reviews = 1 badge).
- Attend live virtual events this summer (2 events attended = 1 badge).
- Participate in a Take & Make Project (2 Take & Makes = 1 badge).
- Culinary Creations (2 culinary projects = 1 badge).
1 digital badge = 5 digital raffle tickets!!!
Winners will be announced on Monday, August 23rd at 3:00PM.

Virtual Pet Show Photo Challenge
Use this year’s Summer Library Program theme Tails and Tales to stage a photo with a pet reading reading a book and post it on Instagram or Facebook between August 6 and August 20, 2021. When you post, include the hashtag #tailsandtalesmpl2021 and title of the book. One winner will be randomly selected to receive a $50 gift card to Petco!!

Sign up in the Beanstack Tracker or using the Beanstack mobile app.
- New users will need to set up an account. A valid email address is required.
- Returning users can log in with their existing account information and sign up for the summer reading challenge.
