Teens

The Mansfield Public Library is committed to providing the best possible services to patrons of all ages. The Teen Space is a place where teens ages 13 to 18 can do homework and hang out. It is a safe and welcoming place for all teens. As it is a space specifically created for teens, they have priority over the use of the space. Please note the following guidelines regarding the space:

  • The Teen Space is for ages 13-18 during the summer, school vacations and other “no school” days. During the regular school year, the Teen Space is open to all until 2:00PM.
Anyone who is not a teen will be asked to relocate to another area of the library.

The Teen Area at the Mansfield Public Library has books, graphic novels, DVDs, and magazines; if you’re looking for something but don’t find it, feel free to make a suggestion! The library hosts events for teens every month (see below for what’s coming next). The library also has music, movies, plus lots of downloadable media, including ebooks, downloadable audiobooks, magazines, and music you can download and keep for free!

Free Play After School Games

Every day after school in the teen space, choose from a various number of games, puzzles, brainteasers, circuit-building kits and more. Ask the reference desk for the games. Please be courtesy of the Library’s games and make sure to keep all the pieces together. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy!
